The Lake Suites: elegant home that smells of the past
The Lake Suites, is located in a 16th-17th-century building in the heart of a small village, Pacengo, which in recent centuries has been marked by the presence of families of Veronese nobility, whose traces are visible in the elegant surrounding architecture.
The Lake Suites was purchased in 2022 and renovated by the current owners Carlo and Daniela, but its history is rooted in a historic villa of great value. Originally part of an architectural complex, the villa tells stories of bygone eras and the illustrious families who inhabited it.
The few facts about this house were collected by John Perantoni in the small volumes devoted to the history of this ancient village. He writes: “The engineer Alfonso Bellinato, came into possession of it through the purchase from Count Gustavo Laracevoski, who in 1896 had bought it from the Bank of Italy and six other creditors of the owners Counts Piatti dal Pozzo following an auction notice in 1892.”
